Hello,
I have decided to collect American Girl dolls for my daughter. She is not old enough for them yet, so I am putting them back for her.
I have the Bitty Twins and I plan to buy a Bitty Baby and Marisol in the next month. After that, I will add to her collection as I can afford to.I love to sew and I am already sewing for the Bitty's.
Today on Ebay, I was thrilled to be the high bidder for a beautiful little GOTZ Doll that is almost just like Bitty. The body looks the same, and she has the same molded/painted hair, but the face is just a little different.
Does anyone know what she is? I have heard of a "Li'l Punkin" doll, but I can't find photos anywhere.I would really appreciate any help in identifying this little sweetie.
Thank you, Anna

Do you have the blonde boy, or the brunette boy? We have the brunette twins. When I was looking at the pictures in the catalogue,I noticed the faces were reversed! So the blond girl and brunette girl have different faces, and so do the boys.(Still only 2 molds, just reversed)
I think the twins are so cute!
I love Bitty, but she looks very serious.I think this GOTZ baby looks a little happier.

Sorry we don't have any Gotz dolls so I can't help you there.
We have the Twins too! I didn't notice the faces had been switched until someone here on the board pointed it out!
Welcome to the board!!

Welcome to the board. We started out with Bitty - that was 5 years ago. She is like a member of our family. I'm sure you and your daughter will love her and that you will love the board.

Welcome to the board! I'm glad you found this board - the people here are SO knowledgable and friendly. I think if I didn't collect anything from American Girl, if I stumbled upon this board I would quickly start collecting!
I agree Johanna, I too like the Gotz baby better than Bitty. I think it's her eyes - they look sweeter somehow, more open and alert and sparkling. And she looks like she's thinking happy thoughts.

you might be able to find her on the Gotz dolls website. Go to www.gotzdolls.com and click on "our dolls" then go under "play dolls" and search under collection: kinderland.
